We Be Polo Playin' Dawg,

A few others have finally caught on to the polo thing (it's only been a few years now) so H'ville needs to dig its mallets back out and get ready to show the South what up again. Our winter hiatus has gone on way too long. The Gentle Lovers and a new crop of players will be getting together this Thursday for a bout or three - drink-n-play rules apply, new players encouraged to join us, bouts start at 8(ish)

*edit* we are meeting up at the Koffee Klatch downtown around 8pm'ish

I would like to find some women or beginners who are interested in a low key team (friendly, low on talent/high on fun, no intentional contact, grass)-- I would like to find a group to play with. Can't meet today though.

But if you find interest in a beginners level or women's group, please let me know.

Anyone interested in teaching the kids at the Boys and Girls Club how to play, one afternoon? I think they would like it & give them something to do on their bikes... Spread the love.

It's going to be hard to find enough women to play in a womens only game. Not saying it can't be done but that it can be hard to find enough guys on some days. We let the ladies play and all beginners but prefer people who at least have basic bike handling skills.

I think it would be a great idea if you took the bull by the horns and organized something for the kiddies. You're going to have to make them special short mallets and make sure their parents are cool with it. Helmets and mouthpieces probably wouldnt be a bad idea either.

i didn't realize ATL had polo going on. I asked around a few years ago and nobody seemed to know anything about it. I think we can get a group together to make it up there though.
