Overpriced Beercan Bike For Sale

With all due respect... Cinelli is not what it used to be and sales had plummeted until the fixed gear trend saved them a couple years ago. But hey if you want to pay a stupid amount of money for a mediocre bike, here's your chance to get one. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the bike whatsoever, but there's just nothing amazing with it either except what they think it's worth. Watch out pista concept, there's a new girl in class.

I'm gonna buy that frame and spacer my 160mm stem all the way to the top of that tasty (and totally functional) fork tube! Man, I rule.

I'll put a drop stem at the bottom and spacers all on top of it and not cut the steerer tube. And modify my time trial helmet to rest at the top.

i keep reading the dude's description on his auction. i love when dumb ass people write such stupid shit and don't seem to know anything about what they have. The shaped rear stays offer the “best rigidity” for ultimate tarckability.

I was actually going to try and buy a Cinelli track frame like this and get rid of the Cannondale Capo. Is that a bad idea?

no. i dont think its a bad idea. i was really getting at the fact that you can get, for example, a Trek T1 for the price of this frame. I dont think the Trek is the most advanced frame out there but i think it is on par with the Cinelli and you get a complete bike for the price of a frame. Plus, all the trustafarian art school kids want it now, driving up the price because it has MASH and Cinelli stickers on it. So, no, i think it is a cool bike but i try to balance what you pay and what you get. If you find a killer deal, i say jump on it. I like Dustin's javelin better than the cinelli though

I wouldn't pay what that guy on EBay was asking for it. I did see another guy on Ebay selling Cinelli Pista (don't know if it's the same frameset or not) framesets for a bit over $800. I've been considering the Trek T1 but I'd really like a Pinarello Pista. It's pretty cool but it's also really expensive.
